ENHANCING BEACH ACCESS FOR VENDORS AND RESIDENTS
At The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Residences, Bahamas
we have deep-rooted ties with Bahamian culture that span over six decades.
We are proud to be a part of the legacy that began with the iconic Ocean Club Resort, originally a private estate that evolved into a beloved destination for celebrities and the local community. Our commitment to Bahamian culture extends beyond history; it’s a cornerstone of our identity.
Beach Access for Vendors
We understand that beach vendors are integral to the Bahamian tourism product and cultural heritage. With this in mind, vendor access will be maintained along the eastern boundary of the site in the early stages once construction has commenced. As the project advances, access will return to the western boundary, where shipping containers will be utilized to provide safe passage from Casino Drive to the beach. The containers will include lighting and cross-ventilation for user comfort.
Beach Access for the General Public
Once construction is completed, Cabbage Beach access will remain open to the general public by way of a 15-foot-wide, graded, and landscaped beach access path to improve the safety and security of the general public. There will be disruptions during the construction, but the developer has proposed plans to maximize access.
The upgraded Cabbage Beach access path will be lined with vendor facilities. The kiosks on The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Residences, Bahamas property, will be leased to approved vendors for a nominal fee of $1 USD per month, with preferences given to existing vendors.
The Ocean Club, Four Seasons Residences, Bahamas, is committed to empowering vendors by offering specialized training programs that will equip them with the skills needed to deliver unparalleled guest service and meet the hospitality standards associated with a luxury brand like the Four Seasons.
